 Your experience starts with a comprehensive classroom briefing covering, Safety,
driving technique, racing lines, braking, accelerating, turn-in points, apexes, exit
points and race craft.
You will then start your 1st track activity with On-circuit familiarisation laps in our sports saloon with one
of our professional MSA Qualified Instructors/Racing drivers, demonstrating the Circuit lines,
techniques etc.
Next you progress to a 20 minute 1 to1 Tuition session in a Sports/Saloon under the watchful eye of
one of our professional MSA Qualified Instructors/Racing drivers, who will sit alongside you throughout
this part of your experience to help develop and improve your skills and driving techniques.
 Your Special Day also includes an opportunity to meet our special Guest Celebrity, SKY
Television’s Vroom-Vroom professional Test driver & One of the Country’s Top
Motor-Racing drivers Duncan Gray.
Throughout 2006-2007 and 2008 Duncan’s been watched by millions of Sky television
viewers as he put high performance cars through their paces.
His success on the Race Track’s have seen him featured on Yorkshire Television, an ITV
Documentary ‘Life In The Fast Lane’, Central Television, Meridian Television, BBC& ITN News, Channel 4’s Richard & Judy and numerous others.
Now that you are familiar with the proper racing lines one of our professional MSA Instructor’s will
recap all of the safety features of the NASCAR (style) Racing Car, and remind you that these are the
REAL THING!!! They have no traction control and no ABS, once you are strapped in, it’s down to you!
 Our professional MSA Instructor will then demonstrate how to properly enter and exit the
race car.
Once your race car is ready you are outfitted with a helmet and racing uniform and then
assigned to a car, it’s time to climb into the driver’s seat. After a few pit-side photo shots
by our on-staff photographer - who will have your complementary photo available for you
later in the day - our staff, Now get you strapped into the 200 mph V8-NASCAR (style)
Racing Car. We ensure that you’re comfortable and correctly restrained in a 5-point
harness, finally a member of the Team carryout a final rundown on all the gauges and
switches with you!
To start your NASCAR (style)Drive, Our Celebrity Guest will shout those World
Famous words! “Lady’s and Gentleman, Start Your Engines” You’ll push the
start button and the 5.7 Litre Chevrolet V8 will roar into life!
We use a ‘Pace Car’ system for the NASCAR (style) lapping sessions,
where you will follow one of our professional Racing drivers/Instructors
who will also be at the wheel of another V8-NASCAR for your 1st
Driving Session, This helps you maintain and be fully focused on your
racing line as the speed is increased and Lapping the race track ever
faster and more smoothly than you ordinarily would if you were on your
own.
At the end of your 1st Driving session, you will follow the Lead NASCAR (Pace) into
the Pit area and remain in your racecar, Our Senior MSA Instructor will then
approach you (In-Car) to ensure you are happy and answer any questions you may
now have.
2nd Driving Session will now commence, but this time with Celebrity Guest driver
Duncan Gray at the wheel of the Lead V8 NASCAR-(Pace). As you leave the pits
behind the lead Race car still focussing on the racing lines the speed and Laps
around Circuit get Faster and Faster until the Chequered Flag, You’ll follow the Lead
race car into the pits and be met by one of our MSA Instructors who will assist you in
climbing out.
With your friends and family on the sidelines watching, you finally climb out of your
NASCAR to their cheers and applause, and nothing can ever erase that memory,
that’s” The Day of Thunder NASCAR”
Your Driving Day of Thunder NASCAR (style)experience ends with a
comprehensive debriefing session where one of our professional MSA Instructor’s
will analyze your driving performance and Present you with a Commemorative
Certificate and a Complimentary Colour Photo
This Driving experience will stay in your memory for years to come!
